It’s about the effort made in spending that quality time that brings you both together. Calgary may not be known as the most romantic city in the world, but for those of us who are not flying to Italy this February, I’ve curated a list of 20 romantic date night ideas that will make your Valentine’s Day in Calgary special.
Whether you want to go for the classic romantic dinner, try something new together, or just switch things up from the usual, this list has a mix of fun and romantic date ideas for a special Valentine’s Day in Calgary.

Major Tom Bar is the perfect place for a romantic date night. This gorgeous restaurant is located on the 40th floor of Stephen Avenue Place in downtown Calgary. Their dishes are absolutely incredible, with my favourite being the fusilli.

I love the idea of getting creative and trying out new activities together. Workshop Studios offers date night classes to learn ceramic wheel-throwing, glass fusing and other hands-on art. This is the perfect date night idea to spend a couple hours getting creative with your significant other.

The Candlelight Concert in Calgary is an enchanting experience that definitely sets the mood for a romantic evening. The intimate candlelight setting and beautiful melodies of the strings will make the night a memorable one. You can choose from different genres, whether you want to hear the classics of Bach or your favourite songs from the Bridgerton series.

There’s no better way to spend Valentine’s Day with your partner than to go wine tasting together.
