This is one of my favourite areas for a nice afternoon walk and when I’m looking to take it slow and do some shopping. Tuu by Coutkitsch
Tuu by Coutkitsch is a beloved boutique in Inglewood, well known for their Bijou Bodega “little shop of charms” and permanent jewelry collection. I visited during their 1st birthday event this past month and I was completely in awe of this beautiful Calgary based studio offering aesthetic charms, necklaces, rings and earrings.
This is truly the shop to visit if you’re looking for something unique to add to your jewelry collection. Not only does this local shop have a very cool vibe, but you can make appointments to create custom one-of-a-kind pieces at their charm shop. You choose your charms and they’ll weld them onto your chain of choice!
My first piece from Coutkitsh are the Cleo Hoops and I cannot wait to keep building my collection with them.

The Apothecary
This is a store in that specializes in zero waste and environmentally conscious products. You’ll find natural products in all aspects of healthy living including aromatherapy, skin care, healthy eating and home cleaning products. They also have a section called ‘The Refillery’, where you can bring in your own container and purchase bulk dry food items, herbs, natural soaps, cleaning products and more. I love this idea of eliminating waste and investing in healthier products for our bodies.
Some of my favourite skin care products from here include their Milk + Oats scrub soap, Rosewater facial toner, Radiance Day + Night Creme. I bring my own container or bottle and they refill it for me at the counter.
After coming to refill my products at The Apothecary for the past couple years, it made me more conscious of all the plastic that’s in my day to day. So before I go to buy a new plastic product or discard one, I am always thinking about whether I’m able to get it at The Apothecary instead!

Worn Studio
Calgary has some really great vintage shops, especially in Inglewood. This studio is stunning with a gorgeous collection of pre-loved clothing, accessories and home decor. I love the overall aesthetics of this store and I think that there could be something for everyone here. You can feel that each piece was hand picked, which makes the overall vibe of the store so unique.

Camp Brand Goods
Camp is a well known local Calgary brand offering the best pieces of quality leisure wear for outdoor lovers. They not only have an online store where you can find all their comfortable apparel, but also other outdoor related merch and accessories. Their flagship store, CampLand recently opened June 2024 and it is honestly located in the coolest and most lively spot in Inglewood.
You can’t miss them if you’re visiting during the Inglewood Night Market, as their shop is right beside a large open space where you’ll typically find live music performances and food trucks during this summertime event. It makes for the best visit when you’re exploring the shop while listening to the festivities outside.
Make sure you don’t miss the summer pop up ice cream shop, Made by Marcus in the back. There’s a low key and casual backyard feel to it, perfect for gatherings with friends and family. At Made by Marcus, my top 3 flavours are the sea salt & goat milk caramel, malted chocolate honey comb and Monogram espresso toffee pretzel.

Adorn Boutique
Adorn Boutique has the prettiest and romantic collection of clothing for women. I love the delicate selection of feminine pieces that they bring in. You can expect elegant florals, pastels and a really beautiful collection of dresses, skirts, jackets and accessories.
I often end up leaving with something new when I visit Adorn Boutique. I recently added the Sienne Tulle Midi Dress to my closet. My favourite brands that Adorn carries in their Boutique include Saltwater LUXE, Madison the Label and Faithfull The Brand.

The Next Page
It can’t get better than this – books & coffee. This is the most aesthetic book shop in Calgary. I love those weekends where you can take it slow and get lost in a quiet, locally owned book store.
On the main level, you’ll find a coffee bar tucked at the back and a wide selection of new arrivals of different genres. Don’t miss going downstairs, which is where you’ll find some pre-loved books and even a small theatre.

Peacock Boutique
When it come to consignment stores in Calgary, I will have to say that Peacock Boutique is one of my most visited shops. I will often find something there that suites my style best. They curate a collection of pre-loved clothing including brands like Babaton, Levi’s and Sunday’s Best.
In a world of fast fashion and massively produced clothing, it’s nice to see local shops like Peacock striving to find a solution towards sustainability.

PurR Clothing
Purr Clothing is a boutique clothing shop in inglewood with unique brands and styles that I don’t really see anywhere else. I love this cozy little shop in Inglewood for always having the freshest styles to choose from. You can also find cute stickers, notebooks and jewellery too!

Change is Good
Change is Good is also another one of my top 3 thrift stores in YYC. Their storefront is so pretty and functionally organized for ease of shopping. I love the laid back vibes and friendly staff! There is such a collection to choose from and I also love their mission: 100% of their proceeds go to the YYC Dream Centre – a non-profit that works with individuals facing homelessness and addiction.

Plant Shop
A local plant shop for those who are plant lovers. They have the most beautiful and lush greenery, plant inspired merch, florals and all your plant care necessities. I’m always inspired to take a new plant home every time I visit. The staff there are so knowledgeable, especially when you’re new to learning how to take care and grow your new plants.
I found out that they also offer plant workshops and I think this would be a great friend’s outing or date night idea!

Recess
Recess is the best stationary shop in Calgary. Do I need to say any more?! You guys know I’m in love with all things notebooks, pens, folders, journal, etc. This whole store is just perfection. I can never leave without something cute from this store to add to my bullet journalling collection.
You’ll find an entire wall dedicated to a variety of pens, highlighters and pencils. They allow you to sample them and have clip boards of paper for you to find your best fit. There’s also no shortage of calendars, planners, to-do pads, notebooks and agendas. My favourite brand of notebook that Recess carries is the Midori Brand.
